I know what today is... I know what it signifies, does anyone on TV? I wanted documentaries, to honor and remember, I got Judge Hatchett. so I will say now: To those who lost their lives on this day 8 years ago, it is to you I pay tribute, it is to your family that I send my heart to, in hopes that they may heal. To those who tried without fail in the days following to find anyone alive, my respect is not gift enough to adequately express the value of your bravery. To those who fight now to make it right, you are my heroes for you possess bravery I can only grasp at. Today I light a candle for you all, in hopes that someday the tragedy of this day will make this country better. In hopes that those of you we lost, did not die in vein. Peace be to us, those who follow in your wake. Let us uphold your memory with dignity,honor and respect. And though I did not know any of you, your loss is felt, in my own heart, in my own way. Today I light my candle, it is small, but it is my homage to you. May we never forget your sacrifice, may we never forget the sight of our soil brought to its knees. May we forever remember and honor you, the victims of 9/11.
